Q: Do we store different size boxes?
A: Yes, we store all sizes and types. A storage rate will be assigned based upon the size of the record carton.

Q: Do we have to use your boxes to store our documents in?
A: No, as long as the boxes are in good condition.

Q: Do you sell boxes? If so, what sizes?
A: Yes, we stock and sell standard record carton size boxes which come in bundles of 25. We can also help you box your files for storage.

Q: Do you provide imaging or scanning?
A: Yes, we can scan your items as needed while your records are stored at our locations. We can image your entire File System, Case Files, Technical Files, Bill of Lading, AP/AR, Invoices, Bills, Receipts, Medical Records, HR Files, Legal Files, Engineering Plans, Architect Plans, AutoCAD, Photos, Graphics, Artwork, Newspaper, Magazines, Word, Excel Files, PDF, & e-mails. We can pick up your items scan them, return them, destroy them, or store them.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Our standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services may be performed outside these hours but should be scheduled in advance when possible and additional charges will apply.

Q: Do you accept credit cards for payment?
A: No.

Q: Do you offer document destruction and do you automatically destroy items on scheduled destruction dates?
A: Yes we offer destruction services but the destruction process must be initiated and authorized by the customer in writing.

Q: Will destruction help me be compliant with local and national laws and regulations?
A: Yes, three of the most high profile laws and regulations are FACTA, HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Gramm Leach Bliley. These laws and regulations require businesses to protect health and financial information and are well-known for their penalties and enforcement.

Q: How many boxes can you pick up at one time?
A: As many as you have! We simply need a fairly accurate estimate of the number of items so that we can schedule the appropriate number of employees and the proper size vehicle to take care of your needs.

Q: Do you have climate control storage facilities?
A: Yes, we do offer climate controlled storage but we do not offer "vault" storage.

Q: What levels of service for access and delivery do you offer?
A: 2 Hour, Same Day, and Standard Service is Next Day.

Q: Do you release records to anyone that works for my company?
A: No. Any person requesting materials or services for your account must be on our authorized list. Only the authorized contact can request additions to the authorized list.
Q: If I retrieve a box and do not intend on returning it, do I have to notify you?
A: Yes, otherwise storage fees will continue with our record management system. The carton barcode ID must be permanently removed from our inventory systems.

Q: Do you have cut off times for requests?
A: Yes, 2 hr. requests should be called in by 3pm to be delivered by 5pm.
Same day by 11:00 a.m. to be delivered by 5pm.
Next day requests by 5pm for next day delivery.

Q: How can I submit my request?
A: All requests can be submitted in whatever format is most comfortable for you either by Fax, Phone, e-mail, regular mail, or via the Internet for next day service.

Q: What is the procedure for preparing boxes for storage?
A: Boxes should be bar-coded and inventory transmittal forms completed. Armstrong Archives can help you with this preparation. Barcodes and inventory forms are supplied free of charge upon request.

Q: Can I come to your facility to review my files?
A: Yes, we offer a comfortable, fully equipped, viewing room for your convenience free of charge.
Q: Where are you located?
A: At the northwest corner of Beltline and I35 in Carrollton.

Q: Do you service outside Dallas area?
A: We are a member of National Record Centers and can arrange for services all over the country. Locally we store items for various companies out of the Metroplex area but all service is coordinated through a variety of shipping alternatives.

Q: What are your invoice terms?
A: Our billing is generated the first week of each month and invoices are due on receipt.

Q: Do you offer an Internet database for inventory?
A: Yes! There is secure 24/7 database access to your records. You may submit next day service requests for retrieval from your inventory and or supplies, or query your inventory and view reports that are exportable in various formats.

Q: Do users have to be authorized to use the secure online database?
A: Yes, users have to be authorized to receive a user name and password. User names, passwords, and security level will be assigned individually.
